Who it is for
Adults who want to learn to dance properly, from complete beginners to returners. Waltz, quickstep, cha cha and jive, taught by SJ.
Come as a pair or on your own; we will partner you up. Absolute beginners are the norm, not the exception.
What happens in a class
- Warm-up and posture Standing well is half of ballroom. We start there.
- A figure in the current style One new figure, broken down without a partner first.
- Dance it with a partner Putting the figure together, swapping partners if you wish.
- Put it to music Dancing the full sequence to music to finish.

Medal tests for those who want them, and social dancing you can actually use.
