Who it is for
Children aged 2 to 4 taking their very first class on their own. The class is small, the room is friendly and the teacher’s job in the first weeks is simply to make it somewhere they want to come back to.
No experience is expected.
What happens in a class
- A warm-up song they know Familiar songs to shake off the shyness and get bodies moving.
- Rhythm and listening games Clapping, stopping, starting and counting, disguised as games.
- Balance, jumps and simple steps First real dance steps, one at a time, with lots of repetition.
- A story dance to finish A short dance that tells a story, with a lot of creative exercises.
